Alessia is an artist who expresses in many different forms. She loves to write songs and
poetry, and enjoys painting, drawing, singing and playing music, She is currently working
on multiple creative projects which include a poetry book, an EP and an inclusive art
space to allow artists to be centred in their creative processes.
The talk will include her experience with anxiety and depression which dates back to
when she was under 10 years old. She will share how she was able to overcome her
mental health struggles and cover how working on creative projects with a conscious
intention have helped her work on herself and build a strong foundation. She will also
share a list of resources and practices that have helped her. At the end of the talk, she
will guide everyone who wishes to participate in meditation which will help them to
ground themselves and feel a sense of calm in being energised.
