“Pitch your thesis in three minutes”
Could you engage everyone in the audience with your topic and leave them with a better understanding of your area of research, without getting bogged down in detail and jargon? Every year hundreds of Doctoral students take part in VITAE's 3 minute thesis (3MT) pitch, where they explain a typical 80,000 word thesis (which would take 9 hours to read) in 3 minutes. In this workshop, facilitators will work with participants to explain the principles of an elevator pitch, including, voice, intention, clarity and structure, and to draft and rehearse one.
